Something New

I guess it's about time that I post something new. I knew when I started this that it would be a hit-or-miss thing but I would really like to make an effort to stay within the blogging world so I'll try to stay more up to date. We have had a very busy month consisting of 2 trips to Washington and a lot of long hours spent at work. Most recently I just returned from Basin City after attending my 10 year high school reunion. This was actually pretty fun. It was fun to see people I havn't seen in 10 years and catch up with what everyone's been up to. I guess I shouldn't have been suprized because I went to high school with a lot of really great people, but everyone was very nice and friendly. People generally ignored the "groups" they were a part of in high school and were genuinely interested in what everyone else's life is like now. I think coming from a small town, we all have some basic connection that is bonding and it's interesting to see how people's lives have developed. Here's a pic of me and my best HS girlfriends.

We also took our annual trip to Priest Lake in July and that is always one of the highlights of the year for us.

One more thing... We went to the Dr this afternoon and it looks like baby girl is coming along just fine. She has a strong heart beat and is measuring one week ahead of schedule! I love her already!

It was so good to see you last week--thanks for making the trip.

Wouldn't you love to go back to Priest Lake tomorrow? Sigh.

Glad to hear that all is progressing well with the baby--I cannot wait to meet this little girl!

You don't even know how badly I wanted to come to see all of you last week - I was so sad that everyone was so close and I didn't get to see you. You should've called - I would've been there in a second! Jessica Perkins has been giving me the updates on everyone, so I feel like I was there! :) It sounds like you had a great time - and had a great turnout!! I hope ours is as successful next year.

Hey there! Cute blog and congrats to you guys! A girl, what fun! They are such a good time! And what fun to shop for huh! I bet your mom is going nuts! (You are welcome to my blog anytime! I am like you, very sporadic!) Wendy and I are due in the same week, but my doc said he is going to Peru (to pick up his son) that week and wants to take me a bit early YEAH!!!! So the 14th or 15th of Nov. it looks like. When is your due date? You look great by the way!

During the week after Priest Lake, do you get home sick for Priest Lake? (or maybe a better word is nostalgia) Always the week after it takes me like a week to stop talking and thinking about how fun it was. I wish we could all live up there somehow, or at least stay longer than a week. Maybe 3 weeks would satisfy my PL needs. -phil
